Complements existing web app.
Google has launched an official Google Buzz widget for Android smartphones, making it easier for users of its micro-blogging service to post on the go.
The widget is available for free from the Android Market store, and once installed can be added to users' homescreens.
It lets them post text and photos to Buzz, tagging their posts with their current location.
"You can post buzz about a great meal you had and share photos of the new restaurant," explains software engineer Zak Cohen.
"To save time, your posts will upload in the background, letting you get back to your scrumptious dessert without a wait."

It's not the only way to use Google Buzz from mobiles though. When the service launched last month, it also had a mobile website, and worked within the Google Maps for mobile application.
