Osnapz launches chart to show who's down with social location.
Restaurant reviews site Zagat is the most popular brand on Foursquare, according to a new chart launched by Osnapz.
Zagat has 48,679 followers on the social location service, putting it ahead of Bravo (46,203), The History Channel (42,942), MTV (35,798) and Bon Appetit Magazine (27,926).
A succession of brands have signed up to launch campaigns with Foursquare in recent months. The chart shows that it's the media brands that appear to be getting the most traction with users.
Who's Osnapz? The company helps brands and businesses create custom Foursquare badges and campaigns, so it's got an interest in promoting this kind of thing.
As with other social media though - Twitter and Facebook for example - it's less about the number of followers, and more about the actual engagement a brand has with those people. Something that's hard to measure in chart form.
