That's what the third annual survey from QuickPlay Media reckons
Canadian mobile video specialist QuickPlay Media says 53 per cent of respondents to its third annual US survey voiced an 'interest in [TV and video] services that allow them to seamlessly switch between multiple devices, such as PCs and smartphones, when watching programs'.
The study also shows that 56 per cent of respondents are interested in mobile TV and video services generally, up slightly from 55 per cent in 2009.
Interestingly, while the number of people that have tried their operator's mobile TV and video service held firm at 36 per cent, the survey revealed accelerating adoption in the past year.
Specifically, QuickPlay found that 67 per cent of those currently watching mobile TV or video began using such services in the last 12 months and 25 per cent in the past six months.
When asked how often they use their operator's mobile TV and/or video service in an average month, 20 per cent responded almost every day, up from eight per cent in 2009.
