First version to provide full support for Flash content on phones.
Adobe said the player will be available for Android, Symbian, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry, Meego, LiMo and Palm's WebOS.
But users will have to wait until device makers offer an upgrade, with support for the upgrade.
A Beta 3 update has already been posted to Android Market, and the full version will be able to download on Android 2.2.
Needless to say Apple won't be supporting the release.
Flash Player 10.1 has been optimised for the unique features of mobile, taking into account power consumption, multi-touch screens, zooming and auto-switching screen orientation.
