Global July figures boosted by Africa, with traffic from the region up 21 per cent since 1Q08.
Mobile ad network AdMob says it served 3,991,772,572 impressions worldwide in July, up 10 per cent from the previous month.The company says the Nokia N95 has overtaken the Sony Ericsson K800i to account for the most impressions in the UK with an 8.3 per cent market share.
Globally, Nokia and Openwave are the top browsers on the AdMob network, accounting for 34 per cent and 29 per cent share of impressions, respectively.
AdMob traffic across Africa increased 21 per cent between 1Q08 and 1Q08, with particularly strong growth in Nigeria and Egypt. Nokia handsets dominate the regional market with a 50.6 per cent market share.
