AdMob MD joins Somo

Thomas Schulz becomes CEO of UK mobile advertising agency.

The latest to leave AdMob after its purchase by Google, Schultz has been hired by Somo to spearhead the company’s expansion in the US, Europe and Asia.

At AdMob, he was responsible for launching in 26 countries. 

He'll be joined at his new destination by Virgin Games Founder Ross Sleight, who joins Somo as chief strategy officer.

Sleight has 16 years’ experience in digital, the last five of which have been focused on mobile media.
