And it's working on new HTML5 ad formats too.
Google-owned mobile advertising network AdMob has announced that its iPad SDK is now available to all its developers, following a successful beta trial.
It's not a standalone SDK, however. Instead, iPad is now supported within AdMob's SDK for all iPhone OS devices, including iPhone and iPod touch.
Initially, two ad formats are supported: Text & Tile ads, and Image ads. The latter will be available from next week, and AdMob is recommending that advertisers use them to get the biggest reach for their campaigns.
Amazon is already using the new units to promote its Kindle app for iPad.
Meanwhile, AdMob boss Omar Hamoui has blogged that the company is already looking at new ad formats for iPad using HTML5.

Something that isn't yet clear is how AdMob's iPad (and indeed its iPhone OS) activities will be affected by Apple's changes to its developer agreement, which appear to restrict the kind of analytics that non-Apple ad networks can use.
