Acer Stream set for August UK debut

Android-powered smartphone will be exclusive to online retailer Expansys

Computing giant Acer has confirmed that its Stream smartphone will launch in the UK on August 9th, available exclusively from online retailer Expansys for £399 (inc VAT).

The Android 2.1-powered 'entertainment smartphone' comes with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 3.7 inch AMOLED touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera, 2GB of memory, HSDPA, wi-fi, 720p HD video capability and an HDMI out port.

The Stream also offers Facebook and Tweetdroid integration out of the box, in addition to access to the Acer Spinlets music streaming service.
