955 Dreams secures $3.25m seed round

Funds to support multi-platform rollout and international introduction.

Startup developer 955 Dreams has been in operation since 2010 and has released three music-based apps for iOS in that time – Band of the Day, The History of Jazz and On the Way to Woodstock, which have all been crowned App Store App of the Week.

The $3.25 million funding will support the app publisher's product expansion allowing it to branch out from iOS and on to other mobile operating systems and roll out into markets around the world.

Additionally, 955 Dreams releasing an iPad optimised version of Band of the Day, which will come with a magazine style format and updated navigation features.
