Apple users fall in love with tablets despite previous complaints of sun-like temperatures.

The new iPad was released just over a fortnight ago and has since sold more than three million devices, so ChangeWave Research has surveyed a series of users to determine their opinion of the third Apple tablet.

82 per cent say they're very satisfied with the new iPad, while 16 per cent claim to be somewhat satisfied, leaving just two per cent to declare that they're somewhat unsatisfied, which puts the appreciation ahead of the iPad 2.

When asked what their favourite feature is, three-quarters said the Retina Display, 22 per cent said long battery life, while 21 per cent said LTE, leaving the quad-core processor in fourth with 20 per cent.

Meanwhile, 26 per cent dislike the price of the tablet and 23 per cent dislike the price of wireless data plans.

Interestingly, the new iPad's excessive overheating problem generated the second from last dislike with just seven per cent, while the battery fault – displays higher than actual battery life – was the least of user worries to secure six per cent.
