That's one in seven of all the social network's mobile users.
Facebook's director of product management Carl Sjogreen revealed the stat at the Inside Social Apps conference in San Francisco.
Given that Facebook has 425 million monthly active users via mobile, the number coming from third-party Facebook apps is getting pretty significant.
And they're coming from native and HTML5 apps. Not that Facebook cares either way.
Sjogreen said: “We don’t really care whether developers build for mobile web or native apps.
”The people you want to play with trump whatever the platform the app is on. If your fundmental gameplay revolves around interacting with friends, then being cross platform is really important.”
