4INFO launches AdHaven mobile ads platform

Adds display advertising to existing capabilities.

US mobile advertising firm 4INFO has unveiled a new version of its ad serving and management platform, called AdHaven.

The service covers SMS, mobile web, application and video ads, with 4INFO keen to stress that display advertising is now a big part of its business.

The company cites recent Nielsen numbers showing that its mobile web display network now reaches more than 63 million people in the US - 75% of all mobile web users there.

"Although recognized for having the largest SMS ad network and almost every premier SMS publisher in the U.S., the new Nielsen numbers show that 4INFO now provides tremendous reach in mobile display advertising as well," says SVP of sales and marketing Julie Shumaker.

"The majority of our growth since 2009 has been in the smartphone market. It’s exciting to see the kind of success that is possible with a full cross-channel mobile campaign and the movement of online budgets over to mobile."

4INFO recently worked with KFC on its Doubilicious mobile ad campaign, including ads in the Backbreaker Football iPhone game that helped KFC's own app to generate nearly one million downloads.
