3UK to launch six Android phones

Only stocks one at present.

3's commitment adds more momentum to the Android bandwagon. The 3G operator currently sells just the HTC Hero, but now says it will work closely with Sony Ericsson and Samsung on their Android devices over the next three months.

The firm also told Mobile News that it will accelerate its push on Skype and Spotify, making both available for activation on all Android devices it launches. 3 now has 400,000 customers using its Skype application.
