In the Java years, 3 was a genuine pioneer in the games space, offering innovations like rental and variable pricing. Now, it's clearly decided to up the ante again.
Thus, the re-launched Game Store will offer social connected games and an integrated web and browser store. The partners also plan to launch a dedicated Android app with integrated 3UK billing for the pre-Christmas period.
Livewire Mobile has been working with 3UK on personalisation products since 2007, when it was Fonestarz (bought by Livewire in 2010).
Last year, Livewire launched the network’s new Music Store on its mobile portal, featuring a dedicated site for Android users.
