China Mobile could have 100 million 3G users by 2011.
Lu Dongfeng, VP of Datang Telecom Technology, a provider of TD-SCDMA products, made the projection at an industry forum and also said the figure could hit 10 million this year.The user base will have the dollar signs spinning in the eyes of content industry execs, as long as they can work out a way of getting into the market, and getting their money out.
According to official statistics, China had 641 million mobile users in 2008.
