3 UK has unveiled was it claims is the world's first handset designed around a social networking experience, the INQ1.It will be available free on a contract tariff from £15 per month offering unlimited free Facebook, Skype, Windows Live Messenger and web access.
INQ1 will also be available on PAYG at £79.99, with internet packages available from £5 per month.
INQ itself is a new handset maker backed by 3 parent Hutchison Whampoa, with the INQ1 developed in collaboration with the 3 Group.
The device offers one-click access to Facebook and live updates pushed to the front screen of the device. It also has integrated RSS feeds, free Skype-to-Skype calling, unlimited free instant messenger capabilities and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
