Also adds former Virgin Mobile exec Michael Scully to impressive US team.
These two appointments provide further evidence of the eye-popping global expansion of UK-based mobile services specialist 2ergo.
It's only a few weeks since the firm appointed former Livewire boss John Orlando as Americas MD. The company has also been acquiring companies as well as staff, buying UK mobile marketing agency ActiveMedia in the summer.
Jim Beddows is 2ergo's new VP of business development (Americas), while Michael Scully comes in as VP of marketing (Americas). Beddows was formerly head of content and application partnerships at MSN Mobile and is currently board chair for MEF Americas. Scully was head of music and mobile content at Virgin Mobile USA,
“The market opportunity for mobile products and services in the United States and Latin America is massive,” said Chris Brassington, group MD of 2ergo. “With the recent addition of John Orlando, Jim Beddows and Michael Scully to the Americas management team and our record of success in the Americas region over the past decade, 2ergo is ideally positioned to capitalise on this opportunity.”
