24-7 Entertainment launches Juke streaming music service

B2B music specialist does a Spotify.

It's not surprising that 24-7 has launched into the subscription streaming space. The company is well-establised in the digital download space, and is best known for powering a service for Denmark's TDC that bundled unlimited music with broadband/mobile subscriptions.

For €9.99 per month, Juke will offer 13 million tracks, licensed from 80,000 record labels (including all of the majors) in a variety of different audio qualities. It is the first pan European service to provide Dolby Pulse audio.

The music is instantly accessible through smartphones (Android and iOs) as well as desktop formats. They include the Sonos hardware system.

Consumers can sign up for the subscription service either directly at www.myjuke.com or via Saturn Germany, Juke's first launch partner. More partners will be announced soon.

“The smartphone revolution and the substantial growth of Internet connected hi-fi and video electronics, created a perfect environment for us to develop a trustworthy and high quality music streaming service,” said Frank Taubert, CEO of 24-7 Entertainment.
