Erik Dibbern replaces Carl Nielsen, who leaves after ten years with the digital music specialist.
Nielsen is retiring, and he can be pretty pleased with his work, having seen 24-7 win contracts to stream and download music for retailers, telcos, software and hardware manufacturers, record labels and media companies worldwide.
Dibbern will bring 25 years in IT to his role, including stints at Danish software company, ScanJour and also Microsoft.
Frank Taubert, CEO of 24-7 Entertainment, said: “Erik will be a great asset to the 24-7 team as we continue to develop cutting edge music distribution technology for online, mobile and cloud-based services for Europe, Latin America and other territories down the line.”
24-7 is owned by the electronics and entertainment retail giant, MediaSaturn.
