SanDisk will begin shipping its 16GB microSDHC and Memory Stick Micro cards this month.
The launch represents another step change for memory card capacity, and gives users even greater potential for music playback, photo and video camera functions, gaming and GPS applications on a mobile device.The new cards are also bundled with a MobileMate Micro Reader that plugs directly into a USB 2.0 port, enabling quick sideloading and easy management of digital content without the need to purchase additional equipment.
Both cards carry a manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) of $119.99 and $129.99, respectively.
