Unfinished version appeared on the App Store.
Last week, we wrote about Ubisoft challenging the traditional $10 price ceiling for premium iPhone games, with its Assassin's Creed II: Discovery.
Well, it turns out that wasn't quite the case. The publisher has told Touch Arcade that the game wasn't supposed to be released after all.
What's more, the version that made it onto the store last week was apparently unfinished, and incorrectly priced.
It has since been removed from sale, although it's unclear how many copies were sold before Ubisoft took action.
