Label Polydor worked with Mobile Roadie on the app, which offers a mixture of streaming song samples, videos, news and tweets.
It's one of the most high-profile apps yet for Mobile Roadie, alongside its previous apps for Madonna and Taylor Swift.
Music Week points out that the 100,000 downloads came from just four countries, although the app has since been released globally.

That said, the app has only reached a certain proportion of Take That's fanbase. The band recently sold 1.34 million tickets for their upcoming Progress tour.
