Dating service makes successful transition from Facebook.

Areyouinterested.com, created by SNAP Interactive, claims to have more than 15 million users worldwide across all of its platforms.

The AreYouInterested.com dating app allows users to browse photos of singles in their area and tap "Yes" on people they like, view their matches and find out who likes the.

Users can also continue conversations seamlessly between platforms and use a live chat feature to engage with users who are online. They can also see a rundown of singles nearby, thanks to the GPS component.

SNAP says visitors spend an average of 23 minutes on the mobile app per day.

Clifford Lerner, CEO of SNAP Interactive, believes the addition of virtual gifting to the service has driven a viral take-up.

He said: “The increase in activity on the mobile front demonstrates that people love our features and are more open to expanding the way they date and meet singles in this new era of online dating. The activity we are seeing points to mobile as the next generation of online dating."
