Over 10,000 iPhone applications have been released on Apple's US content store.
Two services that track the App Store - AppShopper and 148Apps - say the store is dominated by games and that the majority of services are free. Highlight findings include:*Games are the leading category, accounting for one in four apps.
* $0.99 is the most common price point.
* One in four applications are free.
* The most expensive app is iRa by Lextech Labs for $899.99. It's a CCTV surveillance system.
