And a quarter of them have sent them to the wrong person by mistake
A new study by www.rightmobilephone.co.uk logged the ten most embarrassing phone blunders, and top was inevitably the storing of naughty images - 28 per cent of which ended up in the wrong hands.
Elsewhere 49 per cent admitted to sending a text to someone that was actually meant for someone else and 66 per cent accidently called someone while their mobile was in their pocket or bag. Oh, and 19 per cent made the inadvertent call while gossiping about the contact.
Three in ten have been on loudspeaker without realising and said something they regretted, whilst 85 per cent say that their cringe-worthy ringtones have left them feeling a bit red in the face in public.
Inevitably 52 per cent have made an inappropriate drunken phone call and 58 per cent said their phone had rang in the wrong place at the wrong time, such as during a job interview or funeral service.
The top ten most embarrassing mobile phone blunders are;
