Live video firm Ustream has launched a viewer application for Android handsets, called (logically enough) Android Viewer.

It lets users watch any show from Ustream's network on their Android phone, while chatting with other viewers in real-time.

There's a range of content available, including the premiere of Shakira's new music video, and webcasts from the likes of 50 Cent and Lil Wayne.
The app will also support live events, such as a gig being broadcast over Ustream tonight by Kiss. It's a counterpart to the existing Ustream Viewing Application for iPhone.

The company also provides apps allowing people to record and broadcast their own webcasts.
