Gameloft reveals strong Q3 financials

Revenues up 15% year-on-year

Mobile games publisher Gameloft has announced Q3 revenues of €30.1 million (around $44.4 million), up 15% year-on-year.

Mobile games accounted for 95% of those sales, with console titles generating the other 5%. Europe accounted for 38% of revenues, North America 31% and the rest of the world 31%.

The rest of the world saw strongest growth year-on-year at 29%, but that means Europe was far more sluggish, at around 6.5%. That ties into comments made by Glu Mobile during its results announcement yesterday, of ongoing challenges in Europe.

Gameloft cited iPhone as a key driver of its growth, although it also said its Java and Brew activities continued to hold up.
