US operator unveils four new handsets with HTML capabilities from Samsung and Pantech

The Pantech Reveal and Impact will join the Samsung Mythic and Flight at the head of AT&T's quick messaging and touchscreen phone portfolio heading into the holiday season.

The new phones are the first to come preloaded with AT&T's HTML mobile browser and att.net service, combining full HTML browsing with bookmarks and local searches.

The new att.net mobile platform utilizes data compression from Opera Software, which it says allows for much faster delivery of HTML Web pages.

Jeff Bradley, SVP of  Devices at AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets, said: "Customers expect to see the hottest mobile phones at AT&T stores and we've upped the ante for consumer handsets with our quick messaging phone portfolio over the past year.

"Not only do these four new consumer phones have either a virtual or physical full keyboard, they now come with our richer and faster att.net mobile browser."
