Stan Lee is best known for being the creator of Spider-Man, but his next project is likely to debut on mobile phones rather than as a comic book or big-screen blockbuster.

It's called Time Jumper, and blends a comic with animation, sound and music. Lee's company POW is working on the project together with Disney, according to BBC News Online.

"It's our way of bringing a great comic book to life with motion graphics and music and voiceovers," he says. "It's really a multi-platform experience, starting on mobile phones and online."

The Beeb says there's no release date for Time Jumpers yet, while the storyline remains "top secret".

It will be interesting to see which mobile phones it debuts on, though. There are already several comics and comics applications on iPhone, for example.
