Mobile push sees VoIP giant on Windows Mobile and Java devices too with Skype Lite app.
Skype says its services are now available across a hundred mobile handsets, including those powered by Google Android OS, courtesy of its new Skype Lite app.
The eBay-owned company says mobile operators are warming to its 'free calls' offering, with COO Scott Durchslag telling Reuters carriers no longer see it as "something just shy of satan".
To date 3 has been one of the few operators to embrace Skype.
Skype Lite will be available in ten countries to begin with, including the US, UK, Poland, Brazil, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Australia and New Zealand. It can be downloaded from the Android marketplace too.
