Developers can now remotely build and test apps on HTC's Google-powered handset.
DeviceAnywhere has added support for the Android G1 to its 1,500 device remote testing service.
Users are now able to interact with the G1's touchscreen, QWERTY keyboard, one-click Google Search feature, 3.5G network connection and 3.2-megapixel camera.
Access is available over the internet from anywhere in the world, meaning developers don't need to own a physical device to start creating and testing apps for it.
Faraz Syed, CEO of DeviceAnywhere, said: “We are pleased to offer our developer community a convenient and cost-effective way to develop content and applications for the Android G1 through our T-Mobile Virtual Developer Lab program.”
