Google is working on an Android user interface pitched at blind people.
The New York Times says a Google engineer named T.V Raman, who has been blind since the age of 14, is developing new ides that use the touchscreen, GPS functions and accelerometer to adapt the experience for the blind and partially sighted.
He said: “The thing I am most interested in is all of the stuff moving to the mobile world, because it is a big life-changer.”
