Mobile to embrace Wii style function?

Accelerometers will accelerate when the big six vendors incorporate MEMS gyroscopes next year.
Digitimes has reported that Nokia, Samsung, Motorola, LG, Sony Ericsson and Apple are all expected to launch devices with with MEMS in 2009.
At present many devices come with MEMS G-sensors that enable motion detection. However, MEMS gyroscopes take the technology to another level of sophistication, more comparable with the Nintendo Wii.
