Apple sure to be rattled by some serious discounting - Take That's new album is £3
The keen eyes at MusicAlly have spotted Amazon quietly opening its MP3 music store in the UK, complete with £3 albums from the likes of Take That, Coldplay and Kings of Leon.
The news is sure to send a rocket up the proverbial's of the established digital music retailers, including Apple iTunes, Napster and Nokia's Music Store.
Individual tracks on Amazon MP3 are available for between 59p and 89p, with MusicAlly reporting £6.49 as the most popular price for new albums.
Interestingly, Apple has made a load of albums available this morning for £4, including the new Oasis release.
