Nokia launched its Build service in the UK today, enabling customers to design the cover of a 7310 Supernova handset phone and share their designs through an
online gallery.

In addition, there is a choice of pre-bundled software packages that offer a range of games and personalisation options, including a ‘wallpaper creator’ and various music capabilities.

Once the handset design has been created, people can either save it for themselves or ‘publish’ it online for others to see, rate and perhaps use as the basis for their own design.

The 7310 Supernova features a 2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and TV out for image sharing, IM and playing pre-installed games on TV. It has an FM RDS radio and MP3 music player too.
