Medio: 'Our T-Mobile deal not affected by Yahoo'

Mobile search specialist says it's business as usual with the US operator.
Medio Systems has moved to clarify that its relationship with T-Mobile USA for searching consumable content (ringtones, games, etc) remains in place, despite the operator announcing it would be offering Yahoo's OneSearch solution.
In fact, Medio says it will be extending its relationship with T-Mobile USA to support the new web3go/Yahoo service.
Specifically, Medio will deliver its mobile index of content to Yahoo! using OpenSearch Mobile, it mobile-specific extensions to the public OpenSearch standard.
This allows Yahoo! OneSearch to integrate Medio's results within its own broader Internet search results.
Medio says its analytics-driven solution will help T-Mobile’s Web2go customers find downloadable content more easily as part of an enhanced mobile search experience.
