Oxygen8 (formerly Opera Telecom) is celebrating the launch of its new interactive media platform by offering customers discounted rates on SMS.

The rates are available across the T-Mobile, Orange, 3, O2 and Vodafone networks in the UK and are as follows:

£0.25 Premium SMS – 10p
£1.50 Premium SMS – 91p
£5 Premium SMS - £3.35
SMS bulk – from 3.5p per message

Oxygen8 unveiled itself to the world back in September and says it has trialled its platform successfully in Ireland and Australia.

The company offers various interactive voice and SMS services to corporates, broadcasters and media brands.
