G1 a pre-launch sell out

T-Mobile has sold out of G1s and should ship 1.5 million devices through pre-orders alone.
According the Motley Fool website, the first Google Android phone has proved so popular pre-release that T-Mobile tripled its order with HTC.
It expects another couple of million to be shipped to retail by launch on October 22nd.
