Zune to be embedded in Windows Mobile?

Microsoft has hinted that Zune software could become part of Windows Mobile.
In an interview with CIO Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer suggests that Zune could go the way of N-Gage and evolve from a physical product to a branded app inside a phone screen.
He said: "What you'll see more and more over time is that the Zune software will also be ported to and be more important not just with the hardware but on the PC, on Windows Mobile devices, etc."
Although there were no more concrete details given, few would be surprised that Zune might go this way. The product has sold poorly in the US, and has still to be launched anywhere else.
