FoneStarz Media has signed a deal to provide content to LG users in 22 countries.
FoneStarz will provide a range of wallpapers and animations from its extensive international portfolio which LG users can access via their phones or by visiting www.lgmobile.com.
The company says it will regularly update its offering, which will be added to the LG portals and independently managed by Electronic Arts.
For its part LG is using a billing system that allows customers to collect loyalty points which can be redeemed for downloads.
By visiting the LG mobile website and completing customer surveys users will earn themselves credits which they can then exchange for content.
Dave Moreau, CEO at FoneStarz Media said: “Forming this partnership with one of the world’s leading handset manufacturers provides FoneStarz with a fantastic opportunity to distribute our range of content to new users around the world. The innovative purchasing method provides customers with an appealing alternative to download.”
