Netgiro to bill PlayNow content

Credit card purchases from Sony Ericsson's content portal handled by Digital River subsidiary.
Netgiro Systems has secured a contract with Sony Ericsson to handle credit card payments on the PlayNow Arena content portal.
The company says its platform supports various local and international payment methods, including credit and debit cards, internet bank payments, direct debit and electronic fund transfers.
Netgiro managing director Johan Hård said: “We delivered a solution for Sony Ericsson that enables payments across a number of different markets, while adding more security and flexibility to the mobile entertainment experience for shoppers.”
