Sony Ericsson could launch its ‘comes with music’ style service next week, if insiders are to be believed.
Tech website Cnet says the handset maker will unveil a ‘free music when you buy this phone’ offer with the UK music subscription specialist Omnifone in days. It offer unlimited downloads from all four major labels.
Although no one is making any official comment, the noise is getting louder.
Meanwhile Nokia has already confirmed that its Nokia 5310 Xpress Music device will come with a free one-year music subscription to Nokia's Music Store when it launches with Carphone Warehouse next month.
The pressure is on Sony Ericsson to act, as it is having a tough year and it’s meant to be the big daddy of the music phone space thanks to its popular Walkman family.
