Apple has confirmed five new apps are now available from the European iPhone App Store.
Top of the list is THQ Wireless's much-anticipated Star Wars The Force Unleashed, the iPhone version of the current console hit. The game, which places the player in the jackboots of Darth Vader's apprentice, is available to download for £5.99/€7.99.
Next up is MoCowMusic's Guitarist app (£3.49/€4.99), which uses the power of touch screen technology to turn the humble iPhone into a virtual axe. It's from the same company that produced Band and Pianist.
Listed third is X-Plane 9 for Laminar Research (£5.99/€7.99). This is a hard core flight sim that's certainly not for the faint hearted. Even the FAA has endorsed it.
Rounding out the apps being showcased by Apple are Marco Arment's Instapaper Pro, a productivity app priced at £5.99/€7.99 and iWik from Hampton Catlin, a reference companion (£0.59/€0.79).
