ME Golf Day: The winners!
Tim Green Sep 5 2008, 10:34am
Neil McGuinness of Jackpot.co.uk scooped the big prize at the ME Golf Day, sponsored by MIG.
McGuinness bagged the overall winner's trophy with his stableford score of 36. This was considerably higher than the score posted by ME’s own Stuart O’Brien, who carded a two.
The other winners on the day were Shazam’s Keith Lovell, who won the ‘nearest the pin’ competition and Teletext’s Jonny Creber, who scooped the ‘longest drive’ prize.
The team competition was won by MIG team 2, which comprised Rob Weisz, Jonny Geber, Chris Simpson and David Bloomfield.
The 18 hole tournament took place at the (thankfully) sun-drenched Hanbury Manor championship course, just north of London.
It was sponsored by Mobile Interactive Group (www.migcan.com), Player One (www.playeronemobile.com) and Mustard PR (www.mustardpr.com).
ME magazine will be running a full review of the day in its October issue. You can see pictures by clicking here.
