Paramount is developing Manga-style mobile comics with specialist animation house Omnitoons
The first series to launch is a based on the teen girl movie Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, which opened earlier this month. In the pipeline are Eagle Eye and Mission Impossible.
The comics will be available in 3 different formats including: single-panel comics, four screens per comic strips and short stories with more than 20 screens in each episode. Currently, they’re available through MMS and J2ME formats in the US, Australia, Europe and India.
