The Mobile Marketing Association has released a white paper about mobile search.

The MMA says the paper provides an overview of search on the mobile internet, how it meets the needs of consumers and the opportunity it provides to operators and marketers.

The paper was developed by the MMA’s Mobile Search Task Force, chaired by AOL and JumpTap, in collaboration with other MMA members including Microsoft, Nielsen Mobile, Qualcomm and Yahoo.
