Russians will buy 3.5m iPhones

That's according to an analyst citing industry sources close to Apple's local negotiations.
Apple will sell 3.5 million iPhones through partnerships with three operators over the next two years.
Reuters asserts that MTS will start selling Apple's device in October, with Vimpelcom and MegaFon set to cut similar deals.
The article quotes Mobile Research Group analyst Eldar Murtazin as saying: "Total sales by the Big Three carriers will amount to 3.5 million iPhones within the next two years."
Murtazin came to his conclusion after to speaking with people close to the negotiation process.
Reuters says 600,000 iPhone have already found their way into Russia on the grey market.
