Deal means the JS1 Bluetooth controller can be used used with all sorts of games and S60 apps.
The Zeemote Zeekey app will come pre-loaded on as yet unspecified Nokia handsets as special gaming bundles and is also available for download on the Nokia website.
The software basically translates movement of the JS1 controller into the keypad presses appropriate to a given app. Previously, games etc had to be designed using a specific JS1 API.
Zeemote says the new software means its controller can now be used not just for N-Gage games, but mobile web browsing or pretty much any other S60 app or interaction people have with their handsets.
Last week the company announced an initial deal to promote its JS1 controller with Nokia in Germany, having already begun bundling it with Sony Ericsson in the Netherlands.
