Yellow Pages NZ launches mobile search

Directory giant teams with mobilePeople to launch a local search service in New Zealand.
The browser-based solution has been built using MobilePeople's Liquid Local platform and allows search by business name, category or keyword and location. Users can then view the results in a list as well as get maps and directions.
Yellow Mobile is accessible via the Vodafone NZ and Telecom Mobile operator portals.
MobilePeople recently extended its deal to power map-based mobile search with Yell UK.
Yellow Pages Group Digital Media Director Blair Glubb said: “MobilePeople are best of breed suppliers and we are very happy with what Yellow mobile will enable Kiwi’s to achieve on the move.”
