Mobile Interactive Group hopes to ease the pressure on the TV industry with a Refund Manager platform

Refund Manager will enable consumers who interact with mobile competitions or votes, outside the campaign timeframe, to self-serve refunds. So, if an entry to a campaign is early or late, consumers get the opportunity to be reimbursed, or to donate the cost of their entry to a charity pre-ordained by the broadcaster. It’s done using web based interface, through which the consumer enters a mailing address for the refund cheque, or selects the charity.

Additional functionality allows the client to cap the number of refunds per campaign, view data on monies claimed/donated and download reports on consumer activity.  It can be ‘plugged’ into any of MIG’s applications and integrated into an external application via its API set or via a CSV upload. Refund Manager has been designed in-line with PhonepayPlus regulations.
